Concept pieces are a lot of things: the very best in design, aspiration and inspiration...
...but what they often are not: commercially viable!
And so it is here. Cast from a hand-carved wax. Hundreds of diamonds, carefully selected and pave-set along complex compound curves. Translucent Whisky Quartz etched by hand to form the turtle's shell.
Laughable from the start that this intricate, difficult, painstakingly-made piece could ever be produced in quantity, but it led us to our delightful and wildly successful Tortuga Pieces.
Now this piece can be the possession of one lucky collector. Only one was ever made; only one will ever be made. There are no molds, no models, no CAD's.
